Londen AAEU Meeting 2015

The European Academy of Urology has asked Els4Organising to organize the 14th meeting of the Association of Academic European Urologists (AAEU) for their members and partners. This meeting took place in London.

A special meeting with 72 professor Urologists from Europe who are members of the AAEU and see each other every year in December to exchange 3 days of knowledge in their field. In addition, their partners (55) have also been invited. Around the scientific program there also was a social program with a great oppertinity for networking. The first day was received at the Rosewood Hotel in London with a welcome dinner. The next day the scientific program started with more than 35 presentations and a special presentation of an Honorary Fellowship at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. For the partners there was a social program with a visit to the Crown Jewels Tower of London, a delicious lunch in Brasserie Blanc and a tour in Covent Garden. In the evening they were expected in black tie at the Huntarian Museum for a cocktail followed by a gala dinner at the Edward Lumley Hall. And of course there was time for some dancing after dinner! The next morning, at 8 am, the scientific program reopened and the entire company, including partners, went on the Erasmus boat for a City Cruise on the Thames. The program ended with a farewell dinner at Simpson’s in the Strand. A unique experience full of variety with very satisfied members and certainly worth repeating!
