IMEX Frankfurt & IBTM Barcelona

Of course you can not visit all cities yourself, but you need ideas. For this I went to IMEX in Frankfurt in May this year and in November to IBTM in Barcelona. I have had many appointments with various hotels, convention desks, DMCs from all over the world. Here you can get some great ideas for incentives, congress locations etc. You get to know a lot of people, because personal contact is still very important. Every country has his own location. The Netherlands is also well represented. Full in orange at the Holland stand! you could attend presentations form various representatives from a particular country of city. You also really noticed the arrival of the Brexit. London is afraid of losing many events because of this. Or Barcelona because of all the uncertainties surrounding the independence of Catalonia. The many bombings that are committed in several large cities. An uncertain time for the event industry.
